An implant supported crown is an ideal replacement for a missing tooth. After an implant is placed by a dental surgeon, Dr. Anderson attaches a metal abutment, or post, to the implant. An impression is taken and a dental laboratory constructs the crown with the same process used to make regular crowns. The implant supported crown is as strong and durable as a natural tooth.
