Bonding

Dental bonding is a procedure used for several purposes, including filling cavities, closing gaps between teeth and protecting roots of teeth. Bonding also can be used to cosmetically cover discolored and otherwise unattractive teeth.

The process begins with matching a composite resin material to the color of the patient’s natural teeth. The dentist will roughen the surface of the tooth before a bonding liquid is applied.  The soft composite resin is placed on the tooth and a fiber optic light is projected onto the bonded area activating the hardening process. After a bit of shaping and polishing, the bonded tooth looks completely natural.

Patient Testimonials

A visit to your dentist should be a dreaded event. However, Dr. Anderson and his staff have always made every visit a pleasant event. I have always been very pleased with all of my appointments; whether if it was a simple examination, cleaning, filling, or whatever procedure. Last year I had a tooth crowned. This year I have received two crowned implants with a bridge. Dr. Anderson took his time and his work was very thorough and precise. He has always been fair with the charge for each and every procedure. I am very happy that he has been my dentist for years. And now I consider him not only to be a great dentist, but also to be a concerned friend."
